Who has been in a interracial relationship/has considered it?

Never been in one but I'm 100% okay with it.

You are being very sweet and innocent, but in fact, it enters in to a lot of peoples consideration and not only do they make choices for themselves, but just look at the horrible stories above. Apparently they judge and abuse OTHERS for their relatioship choices.

We still live in a world where people will not date another person for a LOT of reasons...religion, race and, get this....a guy I know is a RICH (wealthy family and now from his own investment banking business), HANDSOME professional. A successful college althete a few years back and a GREAT catch (just amazing personality...NICE guy, the real deal). Anyway, he "met" a woman online...they "communicated&quo t; for over a year before arranging a meeting (they are three states apart).

They had shared photos, but I guess none showed a certain "aspect"...a nd that was HEIGHT. Turns out she was six foot even. This guy is not "short", but at 5'9' he is not a basketball player either. Well, she walks up to him at the airport (She flew out to see him...he paid for the ticket), and she looks him up and down. They breifly hug and she says "I know this is going to sound terrible, but it would be SO unfair to you to pretend this is going anywhere", "I will NOT date a guy who is less then about 6'3", otherwise we look STRANGE together". She literally walked back to the airline counter, changed her return flight to the "next flight back" (she was going to stay a week), and just...LEFT. Period.

He never heard from her again.

SO...want to talk about dating OTHER races? How about not dating someone a few INCHES different???? YES, it happens.

I was in an interracial relationship and it was pretty awful, but that was because of the guy, not the fact that he was a different race. Also, I would not consider another one because I am happily married and not looking for another relationship.

I've been attracted to guys of different races to my own and thought about dating them but I've never really given it much thought about it being an 'interracial relationship'... I just either like someone or I don't.

Never had a reason to think about it, but I don't think I would have a problem with it.

Hubby and I were apart for three months several years ago and I dated a black man. It had always been a fantasy/desire of mine.

i like races. i think i am in one. my boyfriend likes to bike and i do swimming. i think that if we added another girl who is a runner and made it a polyarmorous relationship that we could even be triracial. we would also be good at relays.
