Interesting assumption - our relationship is not stagnating. We experiment with new things all the time - and that keeps things fresh and exciting.

The effort needed to keep a relationship fresh is far less than tortuous path of finding someone on the outside - then lying and covering up.

make no mistake I didn't intend for my question to be an assumption that anyone has a relationship that is stagnating, which is why i worded it do you feel like your relationship is stagnating. Great to hear you keep it fresh and exciting good job

I think it's interesting to hear people classify relationships as stagnant....I guess you could say I'm in a stagnant relationship because we are so consistently happy and content! I don't feel the need to spice it up.

Or does stagnant imply a relationship that is going bad? I'm not being critical of the original poster, or anything (it's a good question)..I just think it's an interesting thought.
