Worried about boyfriends reaction to dildos...

Contributor: SMichelle SMichelle
My boyfriend has seen my dildos many times, but we've never included them in our sex life. Due to the fact that we've got an ocean between us, we've never really played much with them together. I'm going to see him again soon, and he's asked me if I could bring a few dildos with me, so that we can have some more fun in the bedroom.

I asked him which he would like me to bring, and showed him many of the dildos on cam. He picked out one of the biggest dildos I own. Now... on cam, you can't really tell the size, but it's a fairly large dildo. It's thicker, and longer, than he is. I much prefer him over the dildo, but I'm a little concerned that he'll feel jealous of the toy once he sees the size in person.

He's very open minded sexually, and he adores using toys. I just tend to bring only my smaller toys when I travel to see him, so I'm not sure how he'll react to seeing a huge dildo.

What are your thoughts? Experiences?

Have you ever had a guy get jealous over the size of your toys?

I wouldn't worry. I think that he can guess the size of the dildo, even if on cam you can't KNOW for sure. You said he loves toys, and very open minded. I don't think he will care about the size but I can see why you'd wonder if he'd be jealous. I've not had much experience with toys since I just began in the last year, but no. So far, I've not had any jealous reactions over my few toys and really, had more interest in USING them than anything, Lol. Good luck!

My husband has a thing about dildos. He doesn't want me to have ANY, but we made a compromise that I wouldn't get any realistic looking ones.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. He seems cool with it. I don't get jealous of my wife's toys. You say he's open-minded. He picked the toys out. You're good to go.

Realistically, I know I've probably got nothing to worry about. I tend to go for toys that seem a bit more whimsical, and he's mentioned in the past that he would love to see me using a more realistic dildo. I know that he'll probably just think it's hot to see me using it, but I can't help think of all the "what if's".

Since I bought all of her dildos and vibes, I obviously don't have a problem with it. If he's picked out toys he'd like to play with - seems you don't have a problem either.

He seems fine with it, so I wouldn't worry. Regardless of size, it's still not truly comparable, so he hopefully wouldn't be jealous, and he did ask.

He's the one who asked for it, so already he's more open minded than most. I can't imagine he'd be jealous if that was the case, especially once he sees you preferring him over it.

Your man asked about it. He's obviously secure enough with his sexual prowess to not be immaturely intimidated by an inanimate object like a dildo! Good for him.

My Man knows sex toys are inanimate objects, and when we use them together his actions, with or without toys are what make it fun for me! He's never been intimidated by a sex toy, realistic looking or not. He knows he's the flesh and blood man, and the rest are just... toys.

He even thought one of my toys was bigger than he is. He just said, "That thing is bigger than me." It wasn't, and I showed him it wasn't, but the thing was he thought it was.... and it didn't bother him at all. His penis doesn't vibrate, nor does it have ridges or fun colors, or a "G Spot Hook" but IMO mature men can handle sex toys as long as they know these add to fun in the bedroom.

When the two of you play with the toys together, make sure you give him as much attention as you give the toys (obviously) and let him "man" the toy of his choice, maybe first showing him what you do alone, and then let him play with it with you. He may find a way to use it you didn't think of. I know My Man has.

I would hope he is okay with it. My husband is average sized and likes to use larger toys with me because he likes to see me squirm LOL... My guy has never had an issue with jealousy. Good luck and have fun!!
