I love the feeling while I'm being sucked on the neck, but hate the markings of it. Not a fan of covering my neck either, it's so stifling. I try not to get them anymore because it does seem a bit trashy looking. I really don't care if someone else has them, it was a good time for them! Giving someone a hickey for reasons of ownership status is very immature and high school stupid. Really wish I could be sucked on without the markings tho' it feels soooo good!

I had to go school for an exam with about 30 of them covering my neck, it was so embarrassing as one of the other girls shouted to ask me about it while the room was silent and everyone was waiting for the test to begin... all eyes were on me!

Neither my partner or I care and we think it's fun to give them to each other sometimes just for the hell of it. We never do that before the other one has an interview or something though.

I don't think it is a big deal. We give hickeys to each other but we try to do it in spots that are easily covered up.

If they're trashy anyway, then I don't like them. But if they're in a good relationship with someone, I tease them and think it's cute.
And PropertyOfPotter, they could accidentally do it to you because you love it so much when they suck on your neck you keep telling them not to stop and to do it harder. XD But then after you're done, then you look in the mirror and are like, "Snap, what's that? D:" I can't help it. e_e It feels so freaking good.
But I found out that if you put some form of lubricant on your neck and rub the hickey hard with a coin to force the blood back in, you can make them go away completely. It does hurt a little, though. A small price to pay for an incredible time!

I am not a fan of them personally...at least not visible ones. I have had co-workers at past jobs come to work with them and that to me is not professional. Out in public in general, I guess to each their own. To me though, work is not a place for them and to be more careful

I don't mind them. I get them every now and then and I'll use my hair to hide them, so if I see someone else with it I'll just be like: Well, they had fun XD. I never call anyone out on it because it can be embarrassing if they're seen, especially if you're trying to cover them up.

Odd. I've never perceived them as trashy. They mostly come off accidental to me. For myself, I bruise pretty easily so I get them the moment you do more than breathe on my skin. Good thing I like them. =] As long as I can hide them anyway.

I love getting and leaving hickeys-but not really to show off. They're more so that my boyfriend and I can look at them and remember the great sex we had, or so that when he's alone he can remember he's mine a little extra. We don't show them to anyone or make a big deal out of it. It's more of a personal thing.

One hickey that is small is one thing, I can understand it may have been an accident or something playful, but I think it's gross to see someones entire neck covered in them.
