Hi there!
We live in San Diego and the swinger community here is very active. Actually, I would say all of southern CA is pretty active from SD, to OC, LA, and the Inland Empire.
My closest non vanilla GF knows. I've had sex with her and her husband though, and while they are not currently swinging, they want to start.

Good to know it's active somewhere. Around here there are a lot of talkers but no action takers. The area we have frequented consistes of Eastern WY, Western SD, and Western NE.

Yes most of our friends know about us being swingers. As for the area being active I would have to say it takes time to find the right group or setting but it seems to be active about 50 miles or so from us. We live in somewhat of a small type community so not much around here.

We live in a pretty small area as well and travel about 100 miles each way minimum to go to a party. 3 years or so ago there were parties every month with 50 or so people showing up. No there's maybe one every 6 months and about 20 people show up. We do have our people we play with though and some live a bit closer than that. We have tried various sites to meet new people and aa lot of them seem to want to talk but never get around to the meeting.

Meh, I can say that even at parties/clubs there is a lot of meeting people, but play seems to have an ebb and flow to it.

I hear there is a large number of clubs in Columbus, Ohio, but that is over a four hour drive from us. Hubby really isn't interested in the idea of swinging. I'm trying to get him to at least go and check it out and then decide if it's for us.

Here in Eastern Washington, there seem to be a lot of swingers but finding ones that we want to play with and that also want to play with us seems to be the ongoing struggle.
We do try to go to a swingers club (located in western Idaho) at least once a month. It's great to be in an area that you can just let loose and enjoy being in an open relationship!

We've tried to find common folks close to home, but haven't had much success. We have to travel about 2 hrs to club it, so it turns into a nice wkend away. It seems like its 50/50 of people that travel that far as well and those that are around the bend. My sister knows, his brothers know. Some of my friends know we both date, but I keep the details for them to figure out.
