I have the same lip biting/picking habit and it gets really bad sometimes to the point where it bleeds, a LOT. My husband absolutely HATES it though, and badly wants me to stop, or at the very least, never do it in front of him- ever. So, no, about the blood sucking thing- not a chance!

You know....if it floats your boats, great. However, be aware that there are lots of chances with lips and especially gums to be "abraded" and open to your blood getting into his bloodstream. Should this happen he can develop antibodies...to YOU. No joke. This could have implications if you want to have a baby, or he could even develop a toxicity reaction. YES, it is probably unlikely due to the amount we are speaking of, but you should be aware that blood is designed to remain IN you, and exposure to others blood..even without disease, has risk.
