For some reason sex in front of an audience pops up a LOT in my masturbatory fantasies. Like, more than two people kind of audience. Like sometimes a room full of people. It's not something I've ever done and it's also not something I even believe I would like in reality. But on some symbolic level this apparently seems to get me off. Odd, no?

Sex is all about symbols, I'm convinced.

And yeah, some other things that I fantasize about would be unethical to act on, so they remain fantasies.

Yes, I agree. Sexual tension is definitely related to the psyche. That's why everyone is different as far as their fantasies, the fantasies probably come from past experiences, unfulfilled desires, repressed feelings, etc. (A psychologist probably would do a better job of explaining I'm sure). I do believe that sex play is a way to get out some of these 'tensions' or energies in a safe manner. It's just a matter of how far one is willing to go towards that reality that is the danger (maybe)...

Most of my fantasies are BDSM centric. They often revolve around things I have done before to get me in the mood, or are not too far off from activities I have actually experienced. Some of my more far out fantasies I would act out with a partner that I totally trust.

I have a few that I have no idea why they turn me on in the moment then I am almost disgusted as soon as I get off. I have no idea why.

For me, things like forced sex are hot in a roleplay/fantasy situation with a partner that I trust with a safe word and such. Conversely, forced sex is something that completely terrifies me in a real-life situation. I have a few fantasies like that: ones that are great in roleplay, not so great in real life. Or like group sex is something that is fun to watch, but not something I think I would be comfortable participating in.
