I'm a pro-domme and I specialize in erotic hypnotism. I was wondering how many people know what erotic hypnosis is, and how many people are into it?

To explain: Erotic hypnosis takes a lot of forms, it can either be hypnosis to effect the behavior after hypnosis (by including post-hypnotic triggers or suggestions) or to take the hypnotizee through an erotic experience in their mind while under hypnosis. It can be used for BDSM type purposes, but also more vanilla ones as a relaxation technique or part of foreplay.

I think this actually sounds very fascinating. I have an extremely active imagination and most of the time all I need to become aroused is by simply using my imagination. So being led through an erotic experience in my mind might be something I would enjoy.

Mind control stuff is a pretty popular kink in fanfiction, but to me it always comes across as an excuse for bad characterization at best, or as rape at worst. As for RL, if I believed it worked, then there are issues of consent.

Perhaps it can be helpful to those (with their consent of course) that have sexual issues relating to past sexual trauma (rape and other things that may have caused trauma). Help them relax become more comfortable with their bodies, more trusting of their partner and themselves, etc.

I'm really interested in this concept. I would love to try it as long as I trust the hypnotizer. I've tried mild hypnosis for relaxation and never found it very helpful so I wonder if this would work for me.

I saw a documentary on something kind of like this. A woman was instructing a class full of men and women to reach orgasm through thinking. She explained the process and compared it to group hypnosis, although each member of the class was fully conscious and aware that they were having orgasms. It was pretty amazing to watch. Not sure if this is exaclty what you meant, but thought I'd share.

Yep, it's real, I mean it's not magic, or as much of a thing as people think it is, it's just a very relaxed state where you're more open to suggestion.

It can be fun and it's really relaxing. A good friend of mine does it and it is the only thing that he does in the BDSM community. He feels that it is the only "tool" or "toy" that he needs. When he takes people under he can design any fantasy that they desire. He can conjure pain, torture, iron shackles in the persons mind and it feels amazing and real. It's something that is unique and many I know seem to like it.

For some very odd reason, the concept of hypnosis has always made me feel unusual, and it was't until about three years ago that I discovered that I responded sexually to it. It's weird because I get extremely aroused when I see other people getting hypnotized (it doesn't even have to be in an erotic setting), but I am absolutely terrified by the prospect of hypnotizing me (which is why I vehemently objected to my father's suggestion to try hypnotherapy for my anxiety). I am a HUGE fan of watching people go into deep trance and their eyes rolling into the back of their head. It's a fascination I've never been able to explain.
