Recently I accidentally sent a rather sexual message to the wrong person. Luckily there were no pictures involved. I was just wondering if this has happened to any one else, and how you/the other person handled it.

I accidentally sent a text msg to a former gf by accident. We are still friends so her # was still in my phone. I was embarrassed, but she got pretty mad/hurt/pissy about it. I just had to explain that it was an accident, but I think she thought I had done it on purpose.

I accidentally sent a "X-text" (as we call them) that was meant for Alan to one of our male friends once and it did turn out pretty awkward. Alan thought it was funny, but the guy apparently took the message to heart and became somewhat of a problem for a while.

Oh my god, constantly and its so embarrassing. Just a few days ago, someone posted a Sexis article and there was a statement that said 'i wanna beat my stump on your asshole bitch'. I thought it was hilarious so I right clicked and copied it meaning to send it to my boyfriend. Then, I was trying to set up a shoot with a friend I don't know that well and I was supposed to send him a link. I forgot to copy it and accidentally sent him the stump beating statement. I died for about an hour.

Aside from that, I send texts to the wrong people daily. Its a pain in the ass.

Thanks for your replies! I'm usually very careful when sending texts or sexts, I was just texting in a hurry that day and didn't take the time to double check. I am very very careful now!

Noooooo! I have sent emails to the wrong person, or hit "reply all" when I meant to reply to just one person, but fortunately those weren't sexual! It's rare for my wife or me to send sexual texts, so when we do, we're VERY careful about it.

I haven't sent one to the wrong person, but I have received a cock picture from a stranger that I didn't recognize their number. I just let them know they had the wrong number and they apologized and I never heard from them again. I did have a good laugh with my room mate though.

I had recently gotten a new phone that flips from one contact to the next if you swipe the control button in one direction or another, and I was unaware of that feature. I'm always very careful about making sure that I'm typing to the right person, but I must have brushed against it at some point while I was typing. It would up with me accidental sending a sext to a friend who actually 100% wanted to have sex with me and had approached me more than once about starting a relationship. I wasn't embarrassed at all (if it had been any other of my friends that I regularly text, I'd have been completely honest about it), but I did feel absolutely horrible. I told him that a friend of mine had sent it to the 5 most recent contacts in my phone (which had happened to me before) and that I was so sorry. He actually laughed it off and said that it he had guessed that it hadn't come from me in all seriousness because "no one really talks like that."

One time when I was drunk at a bar, I sent a picture of my uh, nether regions, to my sister! Thankfully we were both out at this bar together and I told her about it and she let me watch her phone until she got it so I could delete it without her seeing. Hopefully she was too drunk to remember this, lol

I've luckily never done this. Most of the texts I send to my partner are in some way rude or full of inside jokes that would sound bad to anyone else reading them out of context so I definitely don't want them being delivered to the wrong person!
