I wouldn't want to know. Personal preference. Just take a loose interpretation of it; the dream doesn't literally mean you want to sleep with your ex and wife together. So just try to forget it, and let it become just a frivolous, meaningless dream...

But seriously, I would get jealous if my guy told me he has a dream about his ex doing anything sexual with him, even if I was there, too. Some things are better left unsaid.

Some things should not be said and that is one of them. It happens, it might not mean anything but it might hurt your partners feelings to know about it. Just keep your dream to yourself I would say.

It depends on how your wife handles things like this. My Man can tell me when he has a sex dream and I'm comfortable telling him when I have one (but if it's an old BF, I usually leave out the name and just say "Some guy.") and we laugh about it.

I once had a sex dream about a character on a classic 50s TV show and he has never let me forget it! We can't watch the show without him asking me personal questions. "______ looks good today doesn't he?" Things like that. *sigh*

If you wife thinks your sex dreams are funny or entertaining or arousing, then go ahead and tell her. There's no reason to tell her the ex GF's name though. I think that might be hurtful.

If My Man has a sex dream, he's certainly welcome to tell me. I don't want to know if it's an old GF, though. He can just say "Some woman." That's all I want to know.

Well I tell him with details...both of my guys like that sort of thing it doesn't make them feel insecure because it's just a dream. They have relayed dreams of this nature to me as well. I kinda like it.
I don't like being the dream, I'm a real woman and it creates friction when I don't act like I do in their dreams or when I say no to something I said yes to in a dream. This has happened to me in the past and it's not fun.
I say let some other woman parade around town in the nude doing everyone she meets and following "orders" to the letter, I'll just continue to be me.
