Yes it would. Every action has equal and opposite reaction, thus you would tend to "bump" and end up pushing apart, with equal force to the forward thrust...unless you were connected to the walls (bulkhead), but then you lose the "fun" of free floating.

Flying on a plane is dangerous enough, the last thing I want to do is be in space.
