Personally I prefer a blindfold and headphones as well ad being strapped down to the bed. I'm not too big on the ball gag, but I don't mind a tie or knowing if I talk or say something he'll do something on my soft limits to remind me to keep quite

I like to be blindfolded because I love anticipation and surprise. My wife will just close her eyes, she doesn't appreciate the added darkness that the blindfold provides.
We also use cuffs attached to the door frame, bed or a chair. they are really tame felt softies which could be easily broken - but hey, I want them on so why would I break them?
