I got over my insecurities and we wanted to work on the relationship. Too bad that didn't work out permanently, but it did for about 10 more years.

My had an 'epiphany' in her early 40s. She decided to take my sexual advances as an opportunity to strengthen our relationship instead of as an obligation. The revelation seems to have been at least partially driven by her female friends who continuously complain of their disinterested husbands.
In any case - we are both much happier as a result of her change of heart, from my perspective the period preceding her change-of-heart lasted too long - about 10-12 years!

I think i have to say yes jeje the more i fell in love with him the more i wanted to feel his body all over mine.. The only thing i miss is that he used to last longer at first now i think the longest well go is about 1 hr. But its multiple times as to the begining was 1hr. 30 min. Just once jeje

read the post wrong at first. We have been strong our whole relationship. It might have dropped off a bit after the kids, but not by much.

We have more sex now than ever before. What was the change? We set out alarms earlier because we both realized having sex in the morning was more beneficial then 30 extra minutes of sleep. Then by the time we are home we both had better days because of our good morning intimacy, and then we are more turned on again later!

Yes, for several reasons, but among them is a grounded attitude and knowledge about sex that we didn't have when we were younger. Also, really being able to communicate our wants and desires without fear.

Weirdly, we started having more sex after we had our first child. But I think it had more to do with both of us working on communicating about sex (and other stuff) more. Also, I started initiating, even when I thought he didn't feel like it, and learned that he was pretty much always up for sex. (I had this weird idea that having a headache or stomach issues was a turn off. This is apparently not the case for him. Me? Yep. If I'm sick, leave me alone!)

Yes. I think as my children have grown up more and I'm finally hitting my sexual peak so to speak. It definitely has gotten better later in our marriage. I think its better now than when we were first married. Minus the logistics of having children in the house. LOL
Also a balance of my hormones helped too.
