How soon after you said "I DO", did you "DO IT"?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
We were trading wedding stories with friends as we prep for our daughters wedding...later this year. One of our friends from work was a "maid of honor" at a recent wedding. It was a lovely, large, formal ceremony. Very formal.

As the guests were leaving the ceremony, headed for the reception, the photographer was looking for the bride and groom to create a few more family photos. They were "no where to be found". The bridesmaids went on the hunt with the groomsmen. Our friend, the maid of honor, found the couple in a kitchen storeroom...BIG bustle dress hiked up in back, as her new hubby enjoyed her charms from behind...standing up, with her leaning over boxes of styrofoam plates!!!! Thankfully the maid of honor was REALLY a good friend, winked and said "after you too finish up, the photographer is waiting", and then promptly stood guard outside the door to protect from any further "intrusions", on their special moment!!!!

We thought that was an AMAZING story. Was about five minutes for them. We had to wait HOURS and HOURS as our reception began at 7 PM and went till 3 AM (when WE left only a couple hundred guests, who were still there, dancing). Anyway, how long between YOUR "I DO"'s and your consummation of those vows???

We were patient. We settled down at the hotel room after leaving the banquet chaos, and did it after a nice hot shower together. It's not like we've never had sex before, so why the rush?

We aren't married yet, engaged to be married in august. But it will probably only be about 4 hours before we "get to it"

Great story!! As the wedding planner in a former life, I can assure you that you would be surprised at what people can come up with. Many people take advantage of Limo ride from the ceremony to the reception hall. Others head back to the dressing room immediately. Let’s just say, you always knock when entering any closed door.
