We've been together 12 and married 10 and I do not know what I would do without him. He is my best friend and my everything. I do not understand women who complain about spending time with their husbands. I would rather be nowhere else.

My husband is definitely my best friend, though we don't have 100% overlap in all of our interests, so he still does his thing and I do mine. It works for us because he always has new things to tell me, and vice versa

Yes, of course! We wouldn't have lasted too long if we weren't. A few days ago marked 19 years since our first date.
We began carpooling to work together about 5-6 years ago and I've been amazed by how many men and women in committed relationships have told me they can't imagine spending so much time in a car together five days a week (total is a two hour daily commute). Huh?!
