I have this lamp that I got at Ikea and it only gives off red light. It rocks for setting the mood, and at night, it's the perfect amount of light.

I used to be really self-conscious about my body but my husband makes me feel very good about myself and he likes to see me when we are making love so we usually do it with dim lights or candlelight or a combination.

We mostly do it with the lights off. I prefer that way, but we've had sex with the lights on, in the middle of the day. Although when we do scene play i actually like candlelight. Im not sure.

Usually we just leave the lights however they were, but we did use to have a red lava lamp that I quite liked. It set a really sexy atmosphere.

I like it dark or with a little candlelight. I am easily distracted and have a hard time with orgasm if the lights are on. One of the reasons I prefer long sessions and scenes at night. A quickie, where I most like am not going to come, is fine in daylight or with the lights on. But, if I am really going to get totally immersed in the experience, I want it dark.
My Man likes the light on sometimes. "I want to see you."

I've never done it with a lava light on. We have two of them (they actually belong to two of our kids) Maybe I'll snatch one and see how it works out.

FTR, having sex on acid is a waste. Of the sex and of the acid. (It's been YEARS since we did that.) I end up getting totally concerned with little details "OMG, look at your fingernail. Your fingernail is so freaking cool. OMG...." "I never noticed how weird your hair is, damn your head is big!" (I once laughed for nearly an hour about how large My Man's head appeared.
