I keep wondering how everyone is in relationships and I was wondering if you single people like being single or if you have tried to get guys/girls and they end up totally not being into you (like me)

I met someone recently via an online dating site. I wasn't really on there to meet people, but I was curious what the site was about. I do like being single for the most part.
I'm still kind of confused of whether she likes me or if I like her, and I'm a little hesitant to go on that first date, even though she has hinted at it. I'm a shy person so dating can be hard.
