Just wade it out. Flirt back, go through with it. See where it goes. Don't get your hopes up, don't give up hope either.

She into you, just not THAT into you. If she wanted you, she'd do it by now if you have known each other long enough to be best friends.

So what do you do? You figure out why she isn't into you enough or you cut your losses.

Alot of people do not like to muddle friendships with romance. Friends are hard to find, good friends even more so, and best friends are the most difficult of all.

I would seriously ask yourself if you're in love with her or if you want her really badly because you know you can't have her.

If it's this confusing for you, I would suggest telling her that you care for her more than just a friend. Let her know where she stands with you, that way she can stop sending mixed messages if she's not feeling the same way about you that you are about her.

Why not just talk with her? Tell her about the mixed signals and such and have an adult discussion with her about her behavior and why she is doing it.

This is at least the third post you have made about this topic. You do not seem to be getting the answer you are looking for. Maybe it is time to just deal with the situation and be up front with her.

Yeah, open, honest communication gets my vote.
