I don't think so, unless you are specifically abstaining from sex and masturbation. If you are only staying away from sex, then even the most realistic dildo wouldn't be breaking that in my opinion.

It depends on the definition you're using. You can abstain from sex and not masturbation. In that case I would assume sex toys are okay. If you're abstaining from both, then no to the toys.
