What would you do, where would you go to meet singles in LA? I'm here for two weeks then I'll be leaving but I'd like to spend some time with a girl. Where should I begin? I would look for something long-term if I was living here but that's not the case at the moment. So I'm into some adventure but I feel alone because I'm just by myself. So I could use some company.. I don't have all the time in the world to hit on random women only discover their boyfriend coming back or they are married etc (happened). So I'd need something more.. targeted? I'm sure there are girls who'd like an 'european flag' as much as I'd like an 'american flag' if you know what I mean

I don't know about LA, but I'd guess you do the same as you would anywhere. Get out. Hang out at places you enjoy. Say you enjoy the library and reading or your a writer, hang out there. More of a chance you'll meet someone you can identify with and since it'd be something you both have in common, it'd be easy to start a conversation. If you like food, there's usually little activities where you can go and try different food and things. I don't know what it's called. Sort of like when you go to a wine thing and sample different wine with other wine lovers. Check the "upcoming activities" in the paper and find something you might enjoy. Even in my tiny town there are fun things like music, food, haunted places where you can tour, etc. Going to different gatherings like that is a perfect way to meet and connect with SO many different people. Honestly, I would thik it'd be better than going to those dating groups.
