I'm guessing this is preference. I like being married. There's love, stability and family in being married. Being single looks like a pain (at least it is for the single peeps I know). Too much trying to be something they are not. A relationship that isn't going anywhere is pretty pointless unless there's some other mutual reason for it.

Like others, I was a little confused by the question. I'm currently not married, but in a monogamous long-term head-over-heels relationship that will hopefully lead to marriage. So I selected marriage. If you're asking what people prefer to have, you should have also listed "committed but not married". Many couples have no intention of being with someone else but prefer not to get married.

well, i chose single because i am single, but for preference I would like to be in a relationship. also, just because someone isn't planning to get married, but is in a relationship doesn't mean that it's not going anywhere. it just means they don't want to get married.

At this point in my life, early 20s, I'd rather be single bust because I can be free and do whatever I want to do. My best friend is married right now and although that's great and everything I want to live the single life for a little while. That's not to say I don't want to be married someday, just not today.

I voted for married even though I'm not, nor was it something that I've dreamt about my whole life like some women. But I wouldn't mind being in a happy (more or less) marriage. I enjoy things sexually more because I need to be with someone I trust and feel comfortable with because of being abused/raped/molested. I'm not one for hooking up randomly just because I'm single.

I never want to get married... But if I had a girlfriend I'd love to take our relationship to new levels and continue to grow closer and closer. DId I mention even if I wanted to get married it'd be illegal for me to do so? ._. So yeah, doesn't mean it's going no where.
