So I am again (are you tired of hearing this from me yet?) single. With more finality this time. Can some of you who are single tell me how you got there and how you survived it? And how you get through it on a day-to-day basis? I knwo I didn't hate it before but I can't even fathom it now. It still kills and I need to know I can live through this. Any guidance would be appreciated.

It's okay to hate it. I admit it sucks. We don't HAVE to be 'lone wolves'. Some of us do need the affection and such more than others. Hell, I was actually considering putting an ad on Craig's List for a 'cuddle buddy'. Instead I sat tight and tried to keep my mind off it with school. I tried dating, but all I got were disasters. Better to be alone than be used, I think, and just take it a day at a time.
