A question about assignments. Anyone know?

Contributor: mistressg mistressg
So I have been saving up my points for something new that catches my eye. I haven't gotten a free order in maybe 2 months, and I've been considering doing that. However, I was sent an assignment today. I am thinking about getting it even though I'm not sure how I feel about the material since I've been trying to clear out all toys that are not silicone from my collection.

My question is: If you accept an assignment that is sent to you, can you request a free review or get a buyout after that? Like, before you get the product that was assigned, or before you review it?

If you got a push for an assignment you can still request your monthly assignment and do buy outs.

It was pushed onto you, so it doesn't count as one you requested. If you have any issues requesting your item you can contact JR.

You are allowed one monthly request item, one order buyout (can be multiple items but they all must be reviewed as normal), and any number of "push" items as those are given out by staff and don't count against you. The buyout option refreshes as soon as all your items are reviewed and posted.

I've known how free and buyout orders work. But I am new to push assignments. I have been sent a few recently, but declined them for various reasons.

This is good to know because I did not know about that as well. Thanks for sharing Airen Wolf.

Also, to my understanding you can order up to 6 buyouts a month, or at a time.

You can order 6 per order...AS LONG AS your previous order has been reviewed. Each buyout is assigned a review. That is why you get them at such a discount. Once you have reviewed every buyout from a previous order, you may order 6 new ones. I get at least 16 buyouts per month.

Ah! I knew this but I didn't know 16 buyouts per month. Cool.

Actually, I have another question. I have never requested a manufacturer sponsored assignment. If I were to get that, would I have to wait until that is reviewed to request a free assignment or a buyout?

Gold star for Airen!

If you get an assignment out of the blue (either as an EF or MF push), you can still do your monthly review (free or buy-outs).

If you request a MF sponsored assignment, it doesn't count either. Those are extra, above and beyond products.
