How long does it usually take to get an assignment accepted and shipped?

For the manufacturer reviews...
Is everything in the product search unlimited for requesting? Can you request something from the product search AND the one per month freebie at the same time?
I had two things that were waiting to be accepted in my assignments, does that mean I could have possibly gotten them both? I was confused about it but just deleted the one I didn't want as much to avoid not getting my favorite.
