When you get an assignment, whether it be free, buy out or a push, how long does it usually take you to write the review? How many times do you use it before you write the review?

I try to use the product a couple of times before writing the review and I like to get them done quickly but sometimes life gets in the way and its a week or so before I get the review written.
What about you?

It depends on the item. One day to a week. I really need to use it long enough to know it before writing a review.

Usually around a week, but it depends on the item. I like to use it at least a few times to give something a fair shot, especially if I didn't like it the first time I tried it.

It depends on the item. Lingerie tends to only take me a day or two. Vibrators and dildos are pretty fast for me too. Masturbation sleeves and DVDs tend to take me the longest.

It totally depends. If I try it once and know it's awesome or I hate it I'll start the review right away, but if I'm on the fence I won't even start the review until I have a better feel for how it works.

I try to review the item within a week of getting it once I have had a chance to use it. The last review I did I actually missed the deadline but I was very sick. Thank goodness the people at EF are very understanding.

Typically within a week. I use it 2-5 times. Depends on the product

Yes, if I'm not in love I make sure to try it again to see if it was my handling error or the product.

I make notes of first impressions and basic product info, then use it 2 or 3 times. Usually while I'm writing I'll think of something to try, or try the item one more time. Then I finish up my review and take pictures. Sometimes it take me over a week to get it done, sometimes two weeks. I'm usually at different stages in the process with a few toys at a time...so sometimes I skip ahead to a review that I'm more in the mood to write.

I have a couple in progress but I've fizzled out on them right now. I will wait til I'm inspired to rework them. Luckily they are just on products I bought not assignments.

Definitely this. I've gotten items that I thought were great on the first use and then just didn't do much for me later, and I've gotten items that were horrid the first time and then I had an amazing time later with them.

A few times! Then a follow up maybe a few months later!

Yah once you know you hate it, it's awful to have to use it a second time for review purposes. I made myself do that once, and boy it took the fun out of reviewing. I kept wanting to like it, but it was just a chore because I hated the toy.

I try to use an item 2-3 times before finishing a review. Especially if there is more than one way to try it out. For example solo and with a partner. I'd say a week or two to completely finish it if it's an assigned review. If it's something I purchased on my own or got for free with an order I just wait until the mood strikes me.
