Qustion about mentors and students.

Note- I was going to post this in the mentor section, but it is mostly graduation announcements.

My question is can you apply to become a mentor, when still in a class?

My question is, can you still be approved to become a mentor even though you are a student? Or will you be denied, and have to resubmit when you are no longer a student?

Yes, you sure can become a mentor even though you're a student.
I did!

I didn't realize you could apply to be a Mentor while still a student.

Not being a Mentor (I haven't applied yet, despite being here over a year. I just don't want to do it right now.) I didn't realize.

But, in my opinion, wouldn't you want more experience with reviewing before guiding others?

I thought mentors were mostly reviewers with a lot of experience and knowledge of Eden's system so they could guide others well.

IF I was going to be a Mentor, I'd wait until I got my "sea legs" so to speak. Meaning, I'd make sure I knew what I was doing, make sure I wasn't asking for help with my own reviews anymore, knew the system intimately and could not only answer my student's questions well, but had a good rating myself.

Mileage, I guess.

I don't see why not, but as P'Gell said you might want to make sure you don't have a lot of questions of your own first. Also, I believe you have to have a rank of 6.0 or higher.

While having your student service activated, you can absolutely still apply to be a mentor. While in a class, I'm not sure. I would wait until you were done with class to apply.
