Reviewing older versions of toys

Contributor: mpfm mpfm
I have older versions of a couple of toys that the manufacturer has changed or upgraded. I've noticed EF tends to keep reviews from the older versions together with the newer ones. So, Mimi has a ton of reviews from the first model and now there are reviews for the newer version. These are not separated in any way.

Is it OK to review older versions knowing they will show up on the newer version's page? I have been thinking about writing a Mimi(Gen 1) review, and I also have a 2 speed Wahl massager with 7 attachments. It might be helpful for folks who have a chance to buy the older version. OTOH it could be confusing for those buying the newer versions. What do you all think?

I think it is ok as long as the newer version and the differences between the two are mentioned.

I think you could post it but I would make it SUPER clear that it's a different version, mention it in the summary, and at least once or twice in the review itself, it may sound redundant but you don't want anyone confused.
