Reviews by partner?

Contributor: Kkay Kkay
Wondering what the community thinks of the ethics of having a partner do a review. I've been thinking about getting a masturbation sleeve for my husband- would it be ethical to get it with a reviewer discount and ask for his feedback? Obviously, I don't have a penis, so I couldn't experience the primary function of the toy myself.

Thoughts?

I do couple reviews with my husband on products for both of us. I like watching and always add my input.

As long as you think you can give a thorough account of his experience, I don't see why not. He could even write the review on your account, or come on in and give his experience on everything. But as long as you think you can still write a helpful review, I don't see anything wrong with it. I've reviewed a few male sleeves that I've bought for my husband.

I don't see why not... I personally wouldn't be able to do it though because I wouldn't have enough to say. I think that his opinion would be best if he wrote it himself. My partner has an account, and when I buy him stuff, he can review it on his own account if he chooses to.
I review things that we both use together (like lubes and the such), but if he is the sole user of the product, he can do it because I wouldn't be able to produce an EXCELLENT review, but instead maybe a so-so one. I only aim for excellence, so yeah

He could write the review, and if you had an opinion or two, he could toss them into the review?

Or, if you didn't want to do a review, you could always use a coupon code to get a discount on the item rather than the buy out discount? Just suggestions of course

I think whatever you choose to do, it'll be fine, as long as you have him giving the majority of the opinion (since he is the one who really gets to experience it).
