Okay, so I come back from vacation and have quite a few reviews with just a smiley in the comment section. This bothers me a little bit. At least take the time to type thanks. Anyone else think that these are bots?
Smiley faces and that is all.

I would be suspicious too. If you are going to leave a comment it should be more than just a smiley face, or even a "ty". Comments like that bother me.

I see it sometimes as well. It's doesn't annoy me terribly, but I would rather have the person say something of substance instead.

Lol, sometimes I will just leave thanks for the review if I don't have anything else to offer, but just a smiley face is kind of annoying. What are you smiling at? The product, the review, just busted a nut lolol?

I'm glad you really liked this! I really want it now." or something along those lines. I like it when people actually make comments about my review rather than just telling me thanks.

unfortunately i've seen that a lot. i have a feeling it is just in passing to earn points by replying to a discussion. it's unfortunate and a waste.

Ummmm, I haven't seen that, but will be on the look out. I have been reading lately about the point farming problem on the site. That would make sense , like MissDebauchery said.

I see it a lot. I find it uber annoying but there isn't much to do about it excpet perhaps to flag it as pointfarming.I like to see actual comments on reviews, it makes me feel good to know that ppl have been reading it and had something to say about it either good or bad.
