What do you want to see/know from a cock ring review

Contributor: sry sry
What do you want to see in a cock ring review? It's metal and it does not vibrate.

I'm planning to redo my review with the new ideas. Maybe it will be better if I have an idea about what people want to know. I found it hard to write about this ring because it's a really simple product.

You may have already covered the basics like whether or not it worked, how much it worked if it did, if you loved it or wanted to throw it across the room, the aesthetics of the ring off and on your package from both of your perspectives, and the overall workmanship of the cock ring. So I'll wander into the more specific questions I'd ask you.

Just off the bat, as a woman, I'd want to know how it felt to your partner. Some soft rings with hard bullets can be painful when we're on top, while others feel good that way, depending on their size and shape. Does the hard material feel good? Is it irritating or painful or annoying? Or is it just not noticeable except for in its effects? Gentle temperature play is possible with a metal ring; if you dare to go there, how did it go? Did you notice, and did your partner?

From your perspective, was it heavy enough that erections felt like a "cock-ups" exercise? Was the weight distracting? Could you comfortably wear it for the recommended time, or did you have to take it off sooner?

If you absolutely had to find a flaw (or a few), what would they be?
If you had to find a way to improve the ring, what would it be?

I hope these help. Can't wait to read your review!

I don't know what review you're talking about off the top of my head but one thing I always wonder about is how it's worn - behind the testicles or just on the shaft. Or if you try it both ways. I think this is because I never knew the traditional way to wear a cock ring was behind the balls and I assumed the "normal" way was to wear it just on the shaft. These two things can have really different results and some rings work better for wearing it one way while the opposite is true for others (IE some meant to be worn behind the balls, are just too small).

Have a look at Jimbo Jones's cock-ring reviews; that'll be a big help.

There's some great advice in here and I appreciate the mention PurpleReign. I always try to make sure I talk about how well it worked for me since that is the biggest reason I'm wearing a cock ring. Comfort for both parties is a very important thing. How it looks while being worn and how well it stayed in placed are also nice to see. I liked all the information you included in the experience section. Maybe the other thing to include is what made you pick it out over other rings and make it clear if you have any specific experience with other rings.

Would you like to redo your review or to have an option to submit new review for the same product instead?

I also like hearing how well it worked for your partner (because I'm a girl), but I remember a recent post where you said you were still waiting on that special lady. I'm sure you're not the only one on this site who is interested in using a c-ring during solo play, so target your review towards other men like yourself. Audience specific reviews are especially helpful when a product you're reviewing already has a few reviews. That's what I like about this site- If I'm interested in a product that has a lot of reviews, I'm likely to find one that is written by someone with similar tastes & preferences as I do.

Wow thanks for the replies! Very helpful

Neuron Geek: I was just going to click edit and delete all the text. I think a button to delete your own reviews would be cool too.

Extreme example of why it might be good idea to have a remove review button:

Like what if there was ever a dilemma when someone found out you where here or something and you were applying for a job for a government position or something you could be all over the news or something, and your sex life would be totally public... that could affect your standings with certain people in the world that may not like sex toys.

So an option to remove yourself from the site would be a good idea if you could do it on your own, without having to bother an admin.

I would also like an option to also edit your follow-ups. As I posted a 1 sentence follow up with out realizing I could not write as many follow ups as I wanted.
