Firstly, I write them to try and give others information about the product...both the good and the bad...
Secondly, it is a great way to get to know other reviewers, by them reading your reviews and you reading theirs..
Thirdly, the points don't hurt anything either...

A) I feel like I actually make a difference in peoples lives with my 'talents' (If you can call writing about dildos well a talent) It's such a rewarding feeling when you know that you helped someone save money or find something they love!
B) It helps me feel like part of the community, commenting and getting comments. It ties into the first one, where I love getting comments saying that I helped someone out.
C) I got it with a buyout assignment or as a DR/Monthly assignment and I have to, even if I don't want to.
D) I like to see my rank go up, or at least not fall any lower hahaha!
Because I only get $.50 of points and I both do video reviews and am an editor (Which means I get about $50-100 a week in points) I really don't do it for the points.

I love being able to express my opinion while earning money for the site. Who doesn't love getting their toys for free? I really love EF and am happy to contribute. I like writing reviews and talking to others on the site. What's not to love?

I learn a lot by reading reviews provided by others - and based on the comments and feedback I get - they find my input useful as well. It's all about helping one another.
The points we get from EF are in recognition of the fact that reviews help people make good choices - so I would expect them to have fewer returns than other sites.

I really enjoy sharing my experience with others and I think that we bring a good voice to reviews, i.e. what my wife thinks and what I think.
I'm also like Ryuson, I enjoy being part of the community and seeing my ranking going up.

Mostly because it's fun and gives me something to do with my time. I enjoy doing it. It's like my little hobby. I also like helping people make informed decisions. I bought so many crappy toys before finding reviews and wanted to help people not make the mistakes I did. I get a sense of accomplishment and pride from my reviews. Those are the main reasons, but the free toys are cool too.

I like being able to share my experiences with people and with reviews I can do that and help others make a decision about a toy or movie or whatever

I like being able to help other people make their decisions. It can be hard to make a decision based on a manufacturers description only since they're a little biased. My first toy I ever bought was terrible and I wish I had a community like Eden that I could have consulted with first. Plus, the community itself is terrific and I like being able to write without the fear of being judged.

3.) To let others know my experiences and what I am into so that if they are into similar things it will help them decide if an item is right for them

I've always loved writing, and masturbating (lol!) and reviewing allows me to do something very fun, and informative. I feel it can showcase my writing abilities, and I've gained a lot of knowledge about companies, products, materials, etc by reviewing. I love it!

I just love to help others and I hope that my reviews help others choose the right toy for them. Especially the higher priced ones.
