Is there a way to have your mentor commended for a great job?

Contributor: Darkestraven Darkestraven
I was curious if there is a way for a student to somehow give or have someone give an award or commend them for such an amazing job?

The reason I ask this is because I ave the most amazing mentor (not to knock any of the other mentors ofcourse) who has been nothing but helpful and knowledgeable that I feel she should be commended. i can honestly say that I have asked a ton of questions and she never hesitated to answer me and she makes me feel that i am improving and that is all because of how great she is. The kicker is that I haven't even graduated yetand I know that I will continue to learn because of my mentor.

Does anyone know if there is a program or something out there for the great mentors?

That's so sweet of you! All mentors love to be appreciated. And actually, there is now a Contributor of the Month thing the Community Events Committee created that you could nominate your mentor for.

This is what I was going to suggest. In fact, other students have done this.

It is the same place where mentors congratulate their students.
