I couldn't find any recent threads that mentioned this, so I wasn't sure if it was still in place.... but I saw a few that mentioned that we (mentors) get a $25 gift card when the class is over? Is that still the case, or has that changed?

If it is in place, how to we go about getting it?

It's automatic and you will find it in the gift card tab.

That is as long as the student is not already an advanced reviewer before you graduate them.

You only get one when the student is NOT already advanced prior to graduating your class. It shows up within a few minutes of graduating your student.

yep u get a $25 GC if your student graduates from your class and they were NOT advanced reviewer when you accepted them as student. if they were, then you don't get one.

I had a student who just graduated and he wasn't an advanced reviewer when I got him but "somehow" became one while he was my student. Guess that means I don't get one?? I graduated him several days ago and checked but there wasn't a gift card so I'm thinking that is why. I'm not sure how he got to an advanced reviewer, he said he didn't do anything requesting it. That's OK though, at least we have another reviewer who will hopefully write many more reviews!!

yeah idk. I usually only take on non-advanced reviewers. i have 2 who need to write 2nd reviews then they'll graduate then 2 who need to write 2 each.

This one was not an advanced reviewer when I took him. he said he didn't know how he got advanced while we was still a student. I have no idea but I'm not dwelling on it. I've only got one right now.

If he became an advanced reviewer while you were mentoring him -- before he graduated -- then, no, you won't get the gift card. The only way that he could've became an advanced reviewer is to have been voted one (if he wasn't graduated by you), which means that he must've requested an upgrade.

That's what I thought too. he says not but who knows. I didn't know of any other way. he did get impatient during the student part.
