I just applied to be a mentor, and was wondering how long it usually takes for someone to be approved to start Mentoring?

I know it says 48 hours is your wait time for a response, but is it really that long? how long did it take for your response to come? is anyone ever denied to be a mentor?

Sorry, I must be getting nervous with anticipation!

I applied last night about 10 pm or so my time and when I got on the computer this morning - I was approved.

me too. I messed up not knowing what a mentor exactly does with reviews - edits and such, so i lost a student but now i know next time to not revise it; you send it BACK to the student to revise
