Mentor Question - trying to get assignments approved for students

Is anyone else having issues with no response for student assignments in the last few days?? I have 3 students waiting on assignment 1 or 2 to be approved to review.

Also, who is having issues with orders??????? I'm frusterated about it. I made an order 2 days ago and it's still not processed and I don't know why, and the UPS Sure Post is saying it'll ship yesterday but won't get to me in Virginia til Sept 11???????? it's never taken more then 3 days~!! HELP

I've received and replied to your Mentor Push requests. Did they end up on your spam folder? If you have a Yahoo, AOL, or cable company email, they tend to file EF emails away to the spam folder randomly.

For the shipping issue, go ahead and send in a support ticket. Don't forget that this weekend is Labor Day and shipping times are delayed.

Issues with assignments should get emailed to Jr. He might be busy or your emails might have went into his spam. I recommend resending your email.

The issue with orders might be about the Tropical Storm. I am not sure if the shipping place is in the path, but many places aren't running mail because of the storm. Trees are down, power is out, and all kinds of other things. So, the storm might be causing a delay.

JR - oh yeah i forgot about the labor day but that would only put it like behind 2 days, not 9 so im not sure. Not sure what Ups sure post is though, so idk.

Student - it wasn't push assignment I am talking about. I'll re- email you about it but I don't have the ID #s anymore. It was the last 2 student emails I sent.

Beck - Ok, thanks. And i'm not sure. Thought trop. storm was done by now. Just found it odd.

I have an order I placed on Tuesday that still hasn't shipped yet. They must just be backed up with things due to sale, holiday, weather.

In regards to shipping, I accepted an assignment on Tuesday that originally said I would receive on Thursday, which then changed to Friday, and later that day changed again to next Tuesday. The entire time the order remained as "in process." Guess what, I got it Thursday as originally estimated. I'm not sure whats up with the constantly changing estimates, but I got it in 2 days as usual.

oh ok, thanks. Idk usually it's the 3 - 5 day time from but says Tues Sept 11 so we'll see

If it's coming through hurricane impacted areas that could be it. We don't have mail running yet.

I would PM your students to see if they got the assignments. It looks like JR said he responded to your requests already.

Ok, thanks. I'm in VA so not near hurricane.

1 student did, 3 not yet. my email must be messed up b/c having issue with video review email not going thru too so idk

Have they told you that they didn't get an assignment yet? And all assignments for students are 'push' assignments, they're 'pushed' through the system by JR even though your student didn't formally request them.

I think that a lot of places anywhere near the Mississippi are getting hit really hard with the weather, but Surepost is awful for shipping anyways. Luckily I don't qualify!

EDIT: This post is now moot, sorry! E-mail JR again if two have messaged you that they haven't gotten it yet...

oh gotcha. i didnt get what that meant. yes the 1 student has none in her assignments

Nothing is wrong with Sure Post. It's just not as fast as USPS.

ok, and still no approval for assignment for 2 students so idk if it's just slow bc of holiday or what. and i cant get 2 video reviews approved that i need approved so it's been a bad week 1/2 lol
