What if your mentor does not publish your review?

I have a review and it's been up there for about a week. Okay, a week is not that long, but still, it seems like they have been inactive lately. What should I do?

Sometimes life happens. Try and get ahold of your mentor. Do note that you can copy your review and hold it in a word document. If you cannot get ahold of your mentor (after a longe period of time) you can shoot a message to JR and explain the situation.

I apologize for the slight delay. You submitted your review on the 5th, and I will have feedback for you by Friday evening. The system usually sends me alerts when students submit reviews, but for some reason it hasn't been doing that lately. So, until seeing this and your post on my wall, I had no idea that you had sent me one. I was actually wondering what was going on here, as I had sent you a few e-mails over the course of the week, asking how things were going. Strange.

Anyway, aside from that, my birthday was on Monday, and I had some friends visiting to celebrate. I also had a few people staying with me that were displaced from Sandy; they just left a few days back. So, yes, as Mwar said, life does sometimes get in the way.

Oh, sorry, I wasn't meant to complain, I was just having a "what-if" situation. No offense to you, dear.

No worries, hun! I know how you feel -- whenever I go through the mentor program as a student (I've done so three times thus far), I get a little panicky thinking, what if my mentor poofs into thin air... So, totally understand.
