Congrats to the new editors! I sure had a blast editing, thanks so much Sammy! I read about so many other products I never even considered, and now my wish lists are larger than ever! Hope the new editors like their position as much as I did.

What is a good thing to put in the application? Is it like brag about yourself or tell why you want to do it? How important is that compared to the actual reviews?

I do not know, I was able to after I posted that but then when I submitted it, it only showed up my original application from 2010.

No reason to brag. Tell about yourself and your editing skills, perhaps. They'll check over your reviews for clarity regardless of what you say.

Congratulations to all the new editors. I had a blast editing, and sure hate to see it come to an end. Editing is one of my favorite things to do. Reminds me when I actually had a job copy editing.

Also, new editors, don't get discouraged if you do not see anything in the task market at first to edit because everyone is going to keep tabs on it since you all are new.

Oh, that explains why I didn't get it, I guess! I was an editor in the first batch. I'll submit a new request and hope that I get rotated back in the next time

Yay, I was accepted! I already edit the heck out of my own reviews, will be fun to edit others (AND learn about other products).

Gonna suck the we're all probably gonna be rushing to grab up what shows up in the task market at first, but ah well. I've got plenty of my own reviews to work on at the moment. But I was able to get a quick follow-up review edit in last night. WOO!

It does do that - it lists your application from the original date, no matter how many times you've reapplied since. The text that you enter for the application will be new, but the date won't be.

Hats off to all past, present, and future editors. I have enough problems trying to make some sense out of my own reviews let alone reviews written by others. Seems like the editors I have dealt with pull it all together. Thanks again to all of you.
