What do you do if you find an 'inappropriate' video review?

Contributor: Jake'n'bake Jake'n'bake
I've found a couple video reviews on here that seem like they'd be inappropriate to even be submitted. It's not flat-out sex, but it had almost nothing to do with the item it was about; it was filmed in use for about 50% of the video and the rest was 'sexy' shots, there was no dialogue explaining about it at all.

I was wondering, what do you folks do if you come across things like that? I've thought about messaging someone about it, but I'm not sure about the etiquette for stuff like that here. Thoughts, opinions, experiences? How little is TOO little information?

there are actual approved video reviews that are formatted like that. You should pay attention to the labels to ensure what you're watching is relevant to your interests.

It sounds like you're watching the adult video reviews. Those are clearly marked, and tend to be more sensual and focused on showing the toy in a sexual situation. They're not hardcore pornography, but they are meant to be sexy.

It's easy to skip them- they're clearly labeled.

There are four different types of videos offered on EF: Video reviews, manufacturer videos, sneak peak videos, and adult. The adult videos should be clearly marked with a warning and are supposed to be an erotic showcase of the toy. They are not supposed to be informational like the standard video reviews.

Some people don't mark them as adult so I just give a low rating.

All adult videos should have the nudity warning at the beginning. If they don't, I would suggest contacting JR.

That is exactly what I was going to say.

Yes, please do! I usually get to videos daily, but sometimes they come through on weekends and I might not catch it until later on Monday.

I haven't mistakenly stumbled across any mislabeled ones, the team has been doing a great job!

I tend not to watch the "adult" reviews, as I find them mostly irrelevant. Usually I'm looking for a review that focuses on explaining the size, maybe in comparison to similar toys, etc. I don't mind the "toy in action" stuff, as long as it's explained a bit. However, sometimes the ONLY video review for an item is an adult review and while I don't find them helpful, I just don't vote at all.

The one I found was mislabled. ): Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it since then so I think it was relabled. It's nice to know who to contact, though!
