First of all, to receive free toys you must become an advanced reviewer.
There are two ways to do this.
a. Write two reviews and submit them and then go before the community for a vote. Sounds like the quickest way to become an advanced reviewer - and it can be.
b. Sign up under a mentor and submit reviews to them and have them help you learn to write even better reviews. They can graduate you as early as 2 reviews or later if you want to work with them longer. Once they graduate you - you are an advanced reviewer. You can find the mentor information
here. I personally believe this is the best way to go because you learn how to write better reviews which will get higher votes which will get you a higher rating which will get you higher valued free toys.
Then - you go to
the review program page and you use
product search to find things to review. The amount of the item you can request will be based on your ranking which you can find the amounts
here.
You can request
one free Eden-sponsored assignment per month. You can also request
one free manufacturer sponsored assignment at a time. In addition, as you look at items, you can use the "grab it" option on the top right hand side of the page (about 1/4 of the way down) to grab an item and put it in your assignment cart.
You can do up to 6 "buyout" assignments this way per month - which allows you to buy the item(s) at 30% off. Unfortunately, I don't remember about shipping on these assignments.
BUT - your free Eden sponsored and manufacturer sponsored assignments do not have shipping costs to them - they are "free".
