Is this in fact what is meant by activating discussion service to upgrade to regular user account?

I was wondering this myself, I've verified my email, and published my profile, and I've been a member for quite awhile (way over 15 days!) but it still shows me as a trial member!
I may make a support ticket if it's ok to submit one for this? <3
