I emailed Carrie Ann about doing a video review yesterday at 3pm.
I realize she, like most of us, is probably very busy this time of year, but I was just wondering how long it usually takes for her to get back to you?
Also, if she doesn't respond within a few days, would it be rude to re-send the email?

Sometimes it is within 24 hours, sometimes its been a few days depending on how busy each admin is. I usually say, give it about a week (5 days) like if you send it on Monday, if you don't hear back by Friday then maybe try to recontact them, but as long as you had the right email, I'm sure she'll get back to you as soon as she can

Peggi nailed it, but it's also worth mentioning that the admins don't really check in on requests on the weekends, as well, so always give them some slack to spend time with their families And then that means that Mondays and Tuesdays, just like with any other job, can be slower as they go through the long lists of emails they got in over the weekend.

I'd like to add a bit more to this thread and I hope it helps some.

I forget what Carrie Ann prefers but here is how I do my emails to her:

Subject line: Video Review: Hot'N Sexy TexasMama : (title of item)

Inside the email:

Link to the item's page
Item # that people use to order

If I have been assigned the item as a descriptive review or a manufacturer's review, I will state that also.

She's never said if I'm doing my emails right or not - but I just know if I was the one doing the assignments, these are the things I'd find handy for my email reference.

Normally I try to get back to everyone within 24 hours, except on weekends.

I'd say definitely give me at least 3 days before you resend, though. Chances are if I haven't gotten back to you in the same day it's cuz I'm abnormally busy and will get back to you as soon as I can.
