You can't go wrong with the Mentor program, not only will you get tons of help with your reviews you automatically are upgraded when you graduate.

Really? I didn't know about the automatic upgrade upon graduation.

Mentors can help a great deal. I'd recommend one regardless.

I agree, I'd go with mentoring. If I had known about joining the mentor program before I'd upgraded, I would've done that! It would've done wonders for my reviews and if I were concerned about a rank, that too!

And yes, as was mentioned, you are automatically upgraded upon graduating from the mentor program

Yup, as long as you do a minimum of two review, and your mentor thinks your ready, they will graduate you and you will be an advanced reviewer.

You can't go wrong.

Everyone should check out the mentor program, even if they are excellent writers. There is always room for improvement

I recommend the mentor program! You learn so much more than just reviewing, you have a site guide who can answer all your questions and it is a great opportunity for a friend on the site.

I'm with everybody else about the mentor program since it can't hurt to have a second set of eyes and then be an advanced reviewer when you graduate

The Mentor Program is great! If you are a new writer, having someone help with content, spelling and grammar is a great idea. Not to mention necessary for many.

If I were you, I'd go with the Mentor Program. As the voting is so random, I think most of the time being Mentored and gaining Advanced status this way is the way to really earn your upgrade. And I think most of us do want to earn our status. Right?

I'd go with the mentor program because they can offer advice or show you the ropes if you're not familiar with everything. It's nice to have someone out there to guide you around.

The mentor program rocks. Just turned in my first review to my mentor (after posting one the other day) and she is really teaching me a lot about what the community likes to see in a review (the specifics) and helping me break down what is helpful information, etc.

My only regret is that my mentor is in Australia - I'm in Texas...meaning BIG time difference.

But her help has been awesome and I'm so glad I chose her and went for the mentor program. (I chose someone who specialized more in the items I'm interested in reviewing and I'm glad I did).
