What's your process for reviewing a toy?

When I get a new toy I sit and examine it, figure out all of the stats and the features and such.
Then I use it a few times and take lots of notes. When I'm done with all of that I'll start drafting a review.

I just use it a couple times. Then I make a point to sit down and just write the review. I find if I take notes, my opinion will change quickly from what I wrote down. So I just write it from my recollection and impressions at the time of writing it.

I use it a few times and form an opinion. Then I sit down and write the review. If I find I need to check something (and I often do), I save the review and do that. I'm not a big note taker in general. I have been told I should do that more but toy reviewing is not where I plan to start on it.

I do the same thing. I like to take pictures of it before I use it though.
