Often, when we are stressed out, our muscles are tense and it feels like it's impossible to breathe properly. Do you refrain from using anal toys because the tension makes it unconfortable, or in the contrary, does it relax you?

Anal play tends to be a bit of a process for me, so I don't tend to do it very often but especially not when I'm stressed at all! It would just be one more thing to add to the list of annoyances

You have to take your stress into account and be able to de-stress, but anal fun can be a good reward for figuring out how to relax.

Now that you mention it I've noticed that I engage into anal play (both solo or with my girlfriend) mostly at times of high stress. It gives me a very deep relaxing feeling and I sleep like a kid

Depends on the stress. Anal play will stimulate the vagus nerve that can lead to relaxation. If you have ever heard the phrase "bug up your butt", it is based on a personality. You can effect that anal retentive stressed out feeling by stretching the anal sphencters. Much like getting a massage of your nervous system. Can do wonders.

If I am truly stressed sex in general doesn't really cross my mind. I should take time out to play with a toy because I know that it can relax.

I want sex more when I'm stressed so it's gonna happen....I find trying anal when I'm stressed forces me to focus on other things and relax
