For me, I tried beads, plugs, dildo...honestly like to play with damn near anything I can lube up. The key, have FUN! Play with a toy you like until you feel like it goes in and out smooth, then try a different toy...For me, I liked the jump to a dildo. Just enough girth and 6.5 to go in...Have fun remember that.

Anal is an art of relaxation. The Internal anal sphincter muscle is involuntary- so you can not control it like the outer one where you can squeeze tight or push out. Learning to relax your body and mind helps a lot. Kegels help a lot. In time you train it to relax and accommodate larger things much much easier.

You can size up in one session, if you have the right size graduations. Once you are relaxed on one toy, find another that is .25" to .5" larger.
Reaching 2.25" diameter was an Aha moment, and 2.25" to 3" remains 'enough' for me. I wanted more till I graduated up to that point. At that point you can be fisted with relative ease.

I worked up to 2 5/8" trailer hitch ball but it takes time, had to go, slow a little bit at a time.
