Initially, I was going to use it as a precursor for anal sex, but I quickly realized that it can be used in other ways. My partner and I used it while being penetrated vaginally and it worked really well. The ribbing on it was not an issue for me personally and the tiny anal vibrations during vaginal penetrations felt great.
