I would recommend for your first anal toy a plug, perhaps-- small in size, and silicone so it has some give! That was it'll kind of be something you ease into rather than glass, which is like WHOA.

We would say start with fingers and lots of lube. Massage around see if you like the pressure. Then try a finger insertion. If that "works" for you then move up to plugs or probes, just a bit bigger than a finger. After that you'll know what you want.

I had actually had some annoyingly negative experiences with anal with past partners- none of them ACTUALLY took it slow and were careful and patient about it, so anal play was never much fun and anal sex was always painful :\ despite that, I still really enjoyed it (mentally) even though it didn't feel good physically.
