This doesn't have much of a base, is this not advisable for anal play or would it be fine?

I wouldn't recommend it, especially considering how slippery glass gets when it's lubed.

Considering that it has a little bulge at the end, I really don't see why it couldn't be used for anal use.

Generally a thick ball on the end like that makes a toy safe for anal, especially given how long the thing is in total.
