I received a gem butt plug as a gift to mark my being a full time butt plug wearer from my girlfriend. I've tried it feels amazing but I'm been a silcone wearer only plus I'm not sure if these are a good item for long term wearing if anyone has an knowledge that they could pass on would be grateful

Please, clarify what material your new plug is made from? I suppose, if you don't feel any discomfort, it is must be safe for extended wearing. Of course, in case the plug is made from body-safe material like silicone or glass

Most gem plugs are metal - my advice is that if it's not true 316 stainless steel, I wouldn't want to wear it much - although a chrome plated plug is probably acceptable for occasional wear.

FYI 316 ss is the type of steel that replacement hips and knees have been made from - because it's nearly inert inside the body. Titanium has replaced ss in many applications, but I've never seen a titanium butt plug!

Thank you both great advice. I've decided to only wear it when we are playing for short period of time to. It's made out of aluminum is what I can found out

Although not as good as stainless or titanium, aluminum is often anodized to keep it from oxidizing - so it should be ok for routine play.

If it is pure aluminum, the plug is absolutely safe In case the toy is made from aluminum alloy with an unknown compound, there is a risk of harmful additives presence.

In any case, if you have doubts, it would be better to use this plug for short playing time for your own calmness
