Skin. Use your fingers or her fingers (with lube, short nails, and optionally gloves).

Start with external stimulation, then as she gets comfortable move on to penetration.

Figure out if she likes thrusting sensations or stay in place sensations, then use that to figure out what toy to buy.

Think big - start small If you want to get into the anal play area with comfort and ease I guess the best thing is to start with smaller dildo like the:

WOW! These toys are much larger than what I used when I started experimenting with anal.

That's one of the reasons why a finger is recommended. It allows you to learn how to relax without spending money, then when you're ready for a toy you can get one that will last you longer before you outgrow it.
